Did you try the bridge placement tool? If you did, how did you like it?
I would love to try the app but as a developer app I need an invitation code from them. Test flight will not open without it on my end? Looks like it would be cool to explore it tho. Great idea, thx, Kent

I gave the bridge placement tool a quick try on a banjo on which I had already adjusted the bridge and it seemed to work as advertised. It showed the bridge marginally off but "within tolerance".

The bridge placement tool worked nicely. I thought I had it right and my banjo sounded pretty good. But after an adjustment my banjo sounds great. I really like the new sound.
Notes:
1. My original adjustments had the bridge tilted farther away from the tailpiece on the 4th string side.
2. The app had me adjust it in the opposite way and now the 4th string side is tilted closer to the tailpiece
3. The app like the 1st string side of the bridge at the beginning and after each adjustment. It didn't seem to matter. I know I had to have moved it some on the 1st adjustment, but it still said it was ok.
4. Large adjustments to the 4th string side.
