With the exception of an member expiration in August renewal email received in late June I have not received any Hangout email since May 2026. I was late but did renew my membership so it is active. Reached out to Eric with no response.
About the same here. Emails came every week or two in the past. Now very sporadic, if any. Hopefully Eric is OK.

As far as contests, there are no new contests and the last one was some time ago.
FYI: becoming a member of the Players' Union has nothing to do with receiving e-mails.
Your PM function is active, so that means you could receive e-mails.
The "weekly" newsletter has been much less than that for quite some time.
I support "to each his/her own," but from where I sit it's, "count your blessings." 
It was May since my last one. I emailed Eric and one showed up a week later but I haven’t seen another one since .
My last "weekly" email from BHO was received on August 19, 2026. I think these have been coming more monthly than weekly.

Forums like this seem to have moved to social media. While this still an active forum, the related guitar, mandolin and fiddle are much less active. There are various reasons for this, but it may be that this is what is happening. I see it in other forums as well.
