Evidently, you have to have a vendor's liscense or something to be able to busk at the Farmer's Market. It's a grab by the city to make more money. The last two times I took an instrument down there the police asked me to leave.
That’s unfortunate, but many cities require permits for busking. Calgary does too (free) if you’re out on the street or in the light rail stations ($25) I don’t have a permit but the Calgary farmers market requires an audition to allow buskers.
