you can save a ton of dough but sometimes its is aggravating to get thru the process.
ordered 2 rear hub assemblies for the wifes car .. i got OEM hubs because that is the way i am if possible i get oem parts..... found a network of dealerships who sell online at a nice discount. buy sometimes they drag their feet.... but saving 2 or 3 hundred bucks is worth it i guess.
Buy them in metric and you'll save an additional 10% +/- . 
By "aggravating process" are you referring to navigating the website(s)? I've not purchased a lot online, but haven't found the websites to be particularly user friendly ... I figure it's on purpose, though I still wonder "why?".*
Having said that I've usually made out okay .... haven't noticed any reason to buy OEM over jobber.

mazda wholesale direct and its all part of the modern family of dealerships... they have several brands of dealerships here in our state. they give some pretty good discounts.
i saved about 56 bucks each on the OEM hub assemblies i ordered.
I use 4 different online sources for vintage Chevy truck parts. They all carry about the same inventory with some variation. Each will be out of stock now and then, so that is why I use them all. I am happy with the service and availability. Brad
