Here’s a 1924 tune composed by Isham Jones (lyrics by Gus Kahn). This arrangement is from Alan Munde and Beth Mead’s book “The Great American Banjo Songbook” , Hal Leonard Publ.

trapdoor2 Yeah,, many of those old tunes had either introductions or verses, but they’ve been discarded through the years - As Time Goes By is another.

Hadn't thought about that one in years. Guess I'm going to have to dig out that book and see what I can do with that song.
