Thinking of selling my Hatfield Buck Creek. Purchased in 12/24 from Arthur and dated 12/20/24. Has no playing time, never left home, Boveda humidified. Wondering what a good asking price would be?

The Buck Creek was my first "professional-level" banjo and it's still the banjo I play the most. Plays and sounds great.

The Denver Folklore Center recently listed a 2024 Buck Creek for $2,700 and I believe it sold quickly.

If yours is essentially new, $3,000 seems in the ballpark in my opinion.

Too many quality MT-style banjos available. All used quality banjos, openback or reso, except some Gibsons, tread water or drift downward.
