I listened to a great version of this worship song “Alleluia” by Elevation worship. One of their guitar players is on a 5 string banjo, was wondering if anyone help me figure out a good picking pattern that would fit with this? Thanks!

The banjo player is flatpicking. Are you looking to flatpick as well, or transfer what he's doing to three-finger or clawhammer?
Flatpicking on a 5-string is less common, but seems to be gaining some popularity lately. If you're looking to flatpick, I'd liken it more to guitar technique than banjo.
That is one thing I noticed, the guy playing is usually a guitar player! But I’m looking to do more three finger style!
Any number of the picking patterns you use in your self-described "purty good" playing will work. Do the same thing you'd do if this song came up at a jam and you had to play along with no warning or preparation.
