I recently bought a nylon string Victor Banjola. It is a beautiful, well made instrument. I was looking for a softer tone with more sustain than a clawhammer banjo. After noodling on it for a few days, I made a brief video with sound samples. The recording of "Midnight on the Water" alternates between the instrument being mic'd directly, and through an acoustic amp. It is definitely not a loud instrument, so I will occasionally want to amplify it. I thought this community might be interested in hearing it.
