The MondoBanjo fest (coming up on September 11th) on the tiny Wolfe Island is about to have its second year. Tim Posgate explains how he started it as well as how he got into the banjo to begin with:

Great interview. The upcoming festival will be similar to last year's - but different. Last year's event showed the possibilities of the banjo in various settings. This year's should expand on that. One interesting thing (of many) last year was the variety of banjos people brought, old, new, long, short, homemade ... . Looking forward to another edition where we'll be among people with different approaches to the banjo. Thanks to Tim, Teilhard, and Jason.
