I occasionally play (?) out on the back deck [heck, I sometimes even take the mute off], but for some reason, or no reason, it's decreased this summer. Will make an effort to reverse the trend today. [Gotta get practiced up ... camp-out this coming weekend, and I know my fans (cough, hack, cough) will be expecting it.

Well you should have whispered it. As soon as speak out loud about wanting to do something outside here…….. it rains! I’m heading out to do a spot in a concert in the town square. No surprise it’s been shifted to the town band hall.
Ours happened last month. I ended up on the sidewalk out in front of an art gallery. To clarify, I PLAYED on the side walk, I was not thrown out ON the sidewalk. It's a banjo, ya know. Nor did the police swing by and arrest me for impersonating a musician. Afterwards I went to our local jam session. All in all, a good day. banjered
