Advice please, I've just bought a Gold Tone AC12. I love it but I'd like to fit an arm rest. It's a 12" rim open back and I'm in the UK. Any ideas?
Many thanks,
Anthony.

Gold Tone's website cautions that a standard arm rest will NOT work with an AC12. They do indicate, however, that this unit will work. I don't know if Gold Tone maintains a site in the UK like it does here in the States... your best bet might be to contact the dealer from which you purchased your banjo and see if they can get you one.

I currently have a Gold Tone/Little Mountain armrest on an AC-12FL fretless. Easy install and adjustment. Very comfortable.
I've had the black Corian, walnut and maple armrests. All good.
Been using them since they were originally sold from a one man shop.
Surprised that Eagle Music does not show them on their website where they are a Gold Tone dealer.

The price is high in my opinion

If you or friends are handy, make one by cutting the correct radius and installing one yourself even if you might use super magnets to get the job done
