“Songs of the Week” is a wonderful resource that has already taken me to so many beautiful places on my short banjo journey.
But of course, I also understand that it takes a lot of work—once a month is better than not at all.

The nice thing now with TOTW is the immediate impact a tune has for just a short time, though afterwards we can access it as needed. Extending one tune here for a month seems long. We do a TOTM on Facebook’s Clawhammer Rules. It’s performance oriented, though, not focused on history or playing style.

Any more thoughts?

That is a remarkable achievement. I think that as long as there is interest, energy and engagement from the members, there's nothing holding it back.

I just uploaded Old Dangerfield by Monroe which I heard in a recent jam at a festival (surprisingly.) I don't see it on the list so it is available and a consideration, I play it in a two finger thumb lead style.

Yes, it would make a good TOTW.  Would you like a slot?  The next ones available are Oct. 30 or Nov. 20 -- let me know, please.  By then you may have your Take 2 video.  Your Take 1 was pretty and eerie, as is the nature of that neat tune.  I looked up the meaning of the title today and found that interesting.

October 30 sounds good. I’ll get a number of clawhammer videos ready.
