Any other BHO members planning to attend this year?
Last year was my first time at the retreat, playing fiddle. It was my first real intro to Irish trad music as well. I’ve been playing bluegrass fiddle for over 30 years now.
This past winter I built up a tenor from some spare parts in my closet (gold tone parts filling in the gaps), and did a semester with that banjo at the north Texas school of Irish music. I've found there's a great community here in north Texas for ITM.
This will be my first year attending as a banjo student. I’ve signed up for Elaine Reilly’s class.
