Seems to me I used 180 grain..
One year I decided to check the zero. N shot a knot in a 10" diamiter tree at about 50 ft..
To me suprise...it went clean through...
Not a good thing for here in crowded ct....
So i have gone to much lighter cals..
Which in turn got me into me own wild cats...
I did use a 6x45 for years on deer...at the time it was a complete wildcat...
As a kid in the 1980's I was an Army cadet (pretty much like a military themed version of the boy scouts), we had Enfield .22s, .303 No4s and Bren guns. The No4 was the first rifle I ever shot. I've always wanted one. Once I've had it on the range, I'll get my buddy to help me come up with a range load and a hunting load.
