Hi, my great grandfather worked at the Bacon factory in Groton, Connecticut. I inherited some of his instruments and I’m trying to identify them and value them. Can anyone help tell me what this is and what it’s worth?

Has one serial number on the inside rim: 10600

Has another number on the neck brace: 9684

Thanks.

Pictures are needed of the full front, full back, side of the body, and inside the rim if feasible.

I can tell you that both serials date to 1923.

Clear and in focus photos. Use plenty of light. Take the banjos out of the case. Take into sunlight if needed. Use the focus feature on your phone.

Note, this website only accepts jpeg format. So if you have an iPhone you will need to reformat the images as they will not upload here.
