Nope…it’s the beginning of the end.

It’s mighty convenient…but it’s already affecting younger generations negatively…young men and women who have never had to research information in a text book at school and actually study, and try to learn and retain information. It’s instant information at the top of your fingers, and it is “dumbing” everything by down.

I’m thankful that I know the difference between real and fake. This AI machine puts out lots of fake info…maybe partially correct…but some kids don’t know the difference.

I don’t like it….its putting lots of folks out of a job. Gonna suck when the guys who make it and implement it are out of a job too…..

There is good and bad with AI. The good for me is I use Google LM notebook which is an AI program that takes my Biblical studies and turned them into a two person speaking podcast (about 12 mins) which is an overview of what i have written. I am very impressed with the results (even if the voices are American).
The bad is, just recently I watched an interview about an AI that was programmed to play chess then went up against a high level chess bot that has never been beaten. The programmers were watching what was going on and were gobsmacked when they say the AI 'cheat' by accessing the chess bots programming to make it make mistakes and thus loose.
I use Google to search for information but I am vert aware that it is not infallable and entirely accurate.

The spell checker is something that I do like. Alltho..it sure can make alot of comical mistakes ...

But it concerns me that whole worded responses..are being put forth..for folks to just click on n send..

At what point dose human conversations end..n AI...dose all the talking ..n thinking for that matter...

Occasionally, if a topic interests me I check in on a Facebook* post.  More often than not, the opportunity for a reasoned exchange is toot-de-sweet lost in an exchange of moronic insults .... I submit that any "thinking," even AI, would be an improvement .     Maybe a system that identifies the source of the response would be useful??

* is Fb is a representative sample of "people's behavior"? ... or  just the low-hanging fruit? .... or??

Maybe I am a little slow, but it appeared to me recently that funeral homes and families of lost loved ones are using AI to generate obituaries now as many of them seem to be close copies of others I have read. The only differences being names, dates of birth and passing, and other personal details. The characterizations and descriptions of their lives is pretty similar, if not exact.

In another 'hangout' when I see a half page answer to something my eyes glaze over and I think A.I. But there are also human verbose typists. They add fuel to the algorithm.
Figure out a way for A.I. to make money for you. Ha! Nobody's gonna show you that, are they?

you're right,, i have found more then once that AI interpretation of scripture is sometimes skewed in the wrong direction... so on somethings that really bug me i get as many sources as possible and use my own belief results for learning.
