Thanks very much, Andy. I owe some of the credit for this one to Gautier d'Espinal, a medieval trouvere. The first parts of the tune are based loosely on his song, “Se par force de merci”.
This tune challenges the ordinary structures of typical banjo tunes. It challenges me to expand my cognitive neural pathways, during numerous listenings, as I try to understand what's going on. Your musical creativity is inspiring. Thank you for posting your music here.
