Here's a wonderful Francisco Tarrega composition that I transcribed tabbed out way back in 1999. It's a beautiful Tremelo Piece....Jack

Takes me back… I played that for one of my juried exams at university in 1995; mind you I only got it up to about 80% of the normal tempo.  Different left hand fingering though. Tarrega was wonderful. Thanks, Jack.

Hi Chuck,
My left hand fingerings are the same ones as the Great John Williams used which is who and where I transcribed it from...Everyone plays everything differently. If you played that to 80 percent you are way better than I ever was at playing that piece and I passed a grade playing it my way and back in the Day and I could play most Chet arrangements up to speed....HA....tks and congrats....

Ok, yeah, I didn't know about Williams version,, I had the score from some book I can't remember.  It started out as a long stretch second to fifth fret on multiple strings,,, ouch.  I read that Lenny Breau used to practice the tremolo on the edge of matchbooks sitting in a restaurant when going out with others.
I don't think I ever learned any Chet stuff other than Jerry Reed's "Baby's Coming Home" and some of "Windy and Warm".  I'm getting interested in tackling his "Bye, Bye Blackbird", if I can tear myself away from making videos for YouTube. I've also got a banjo version of Duck Baker's "No Love" tabbed out that I need to polish up. Regards...
