I have the opportunity to purchase a Sullivan Presentation banjo. I’ve looked online & found a banjo for sale site that sold one (no date of sale listed). I found another site that said “ Sullivan never made a Presentation “. (I’ve seen it). Thanks in advance for any info & value. Mark
Why not contact Eric Sullivan and see what he can tell you about the banjo you are talking about. He should know if anyone one.

A quick internet search showed a Sullivan Custom Shop Presentation model made 6/1/2008 in Louisville Ky according to the identification plate on the rim. It had gold plated hardware and fancy fretboard inlay. No indication if it was a one-off or how many were made.
It was number 6 of 12.
As I remember that fancy model was a memorial to the founder of First Quality Banjos in Louisville KY, Bill Sullivan.
