That is unusually dark!!! Can't tell from your photo if it's dark brown, or black.
RB 3 reissues seem to be priced all over the spectrum. If it's from the Greg Rich "Era" -- GRE -- it usually fetches a higher price in fine original condition than the later RB 3s. GRE is 1987-1993. You tell the year from the FON/Serial # inside the pot. If you see 87, 88, 89 etc after the "3" in the number, that's the year.
I've seen RB 3s of the typical stain color offered anywhere from $2800 to $4200 in the past year. Asking prices tend to cluster around $3000-$3500 in my opinion. That's all original, good condition, with original hard case, etc.
No harm in asking a little extra for the dark stain -- if someone goes for it they might not mind, in order to get something unique. Anyone who has a serious interest will make you an offer no matter what you ask.
If you want to sell it fast, ask $2900 or the like. I bought one that way (not a GRE) a year or two ago for $2400. RB 3 reissues are not "rare".
Good luck.

Will Frady how silly of me! I definitely do have the serial number, it’s:
3-9303-27
Thanks for the reminder!
The Old Timer thank you for all of the detailed information!
It’s a 93 and I believe it might have been one of the last sold in that issue, and the stain is a very dark brown (almost black but not quite)
I hate to have to sell it, since it is sentimental to me and it was produced in my birth year! Alas, I am in a tight spot and need to get as much as I can for it.
I truly appreciate your advice!
