I think this is a very interesting song and it's suitable for non-native English speakers to learn English?
So I'm looking for the tab sheet for this song here. I thought such a famous traditional song would be easy to find, but I've tried many places without success. So I came here for help

I think I can help you with that, but I'd like a little more information that might help come up with something that is truly helpful to you.  You describe yourself as a novice on your BHO home page.  I can produce some basic tab with strums and chords to back up the first verse of the lyrics lyrics (since one of your goals is to learn more English).  I can also write clawhammer tab with the melody if that would be useful to you.

Pete Seeger plays this in the key of C, I think.  Double-C tuning would work best, but if you're more comfortable in open-G tuning, I can write tab with that in mind.  You can find lyrics with chords (but no tab) here - WHEN I FIRST CAME TO THIS LAND CHORDS by Pete Seeger @ Ultimate-Guitar.Com

Let me know what you would like or need.

Thank you very much, I'm definitely more used to playing in open G, but I'm also willing to learn double C tuning. I'd be truly grateful for either one!
