This neck was connected to a pot I got a few years ago. Can’t remember what it was but it wasn’t Vega. It’s really a nice looking neck and I was thinking of using it to make a short scale 5 string on a 19 inch Vega mando banjo pot that I have.
The dowel is Fairbanks Vega,obviously unrelated to the neck but does it have value of its own? I could try to remove it if someone needs something like that.
I’ll attach pics with measurements etc.
I'm making an educated guess here, but I believe the neck could have been made by William Lange.
