Here's how I played it as a young 18 year old teenager. Most of our Farm Hands played it that fast and faster. Not hard to train 3 fingers if you do it for 7 hours every day....Jack p.s. Marc Pruett was fast but not faster than a lot of players in Richmond Va.

Hi Michael,
I really don't remember picking lightly back then. But you're probably right. It's probably what led to my hands being a scarred mess now. Tendons just can't take that for too long. Hard to say.
Marc Pruett is probably much more refined that I was back then. Some Docs say that Dystonia got me, others say too much tendon pressure...Who knows? Jack p.s. I have heard rumors that Earl could play that fast when he got some firewater in him....

Sherry,
It's probably why you can still play and I can only teach and remember. HA....Jack
