I have seen the Jones Hatfield ...don't know much about it and how it compares to the Fishman? Better? Worse? Passive vs Active?
I need to get one soon though and the concern with their website is it looked like there is no phone number or any way to contact anyone....and a possible 14 day turnaround.....wasn't sure if he was still in business..

If you click on the blurred-out email address on his home page -- https://hatfieldmusic.com -- and wait a few seconds for his site to run an anti-spam check, his email address will appear and probably be automatically entered into a blank email message on your computer.
The Jones Hatfield is an excellent pickup but works best with an external preamp of some kind. This will boost and smooth out the signal to give you a better tone. You can run it directly into a mixing board and fix the signal there but some boards are limited in scope and may not work as well.
Here's an old clip of me playing live through my original Jones pickup and Fishman Platinum preamp.https://youtu.be/el8UlQuhaIU?si=ajbPfxiTC9Q-7SJf
These are my settings on the preamp.
Your results may vary :)
