I remember seeing aftermarket housings for Page Figure 8 banjo tuners available some years ago. I think I even acquired some in a box of spare parts. Lately I have been receiving significant inquiries from Paramount banjo owners whose original die cast Page tuner housings have crumbled and it got me thinking about those replacement gear housings.
There is not a good modern replacement tuner for Parmounts with Page tuners, as all new banjo tuner replacements avilable require enlarging the shaft hole and very likely dinging the inlay on a Paramount banjo, I thought posting here might bring out anyone out there that either has a forgotten drawer full of those housings, or was currently making that necessary replacement banjo part.
