I have recently purchased 1970's Tokai Hummingbird masterclone 5 string and it came with the above pickup. I generally don't use pickup when playing, preferring to use stand alone mics. However, I may consider using it in the future. What can anyone tell me about these? Do I need a preamp/ graphic EQ etc?
