Fellow Strummers and Pickers:
I've had this "no-name" Japanese banjo for about 40 years. (Bought it in 1983 from a friend's dad for 40 big ones, during that wonderful Ronald Reagan era of "American pride".) If the photo of the banjo doesn't appear in this post, it is my profile picture.
At any rate, I am starting to play it more often - I really like it - but I hate looking at a "naked" headstock. I want to give it a "manufacturer-correct" - name - and have researched similar looking 1960s and 70s Japanese banjos. I came up with the following possible "name" choices. I realize it could be anyone of these but I'm guessing one of these banjos were more popular than the others so I'm asking for help. Fun stuff, right?
A) Alex
B) Conrad
C) Conqueror
D) Hohner
E) Kent
F) Kingston
G) Lyle
H) Mayfair
I) National
J) Norma
K) Sears "Space Dot" Could it have been bought at Sears?
Please help by responding with one of these names. Or, if you know of other cheapo vintage Japanese banjos that look like mine, please provide the name of that (or those) particular banjo(s). Eventually, I plan to have a waterslide decal made for it, which I will - enthusiastically - install.
If you dislike this post - please pass it by. I don't need any "banjo-snob" BS.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!! Thank you!!!

Ok. Test out the laws of physics by hitting yourself over the head with your banjo many times. Then come on back!

GOOD POINT. But I want to give this thing some "credibility" and "authenticity".. Thanks for the comment.

I've considered those online when making my list. I found some differences - particularly - the truss rod cover and headstock shape - with those. Thanks for responding!

My post above was intended to produce a smile, not produce controversy
I seriously considered "Trump" as it is the name of someone highly successful who triggers weak individuals. BUT, I don't support Israel (he does) and my banjo doesn't have any nail holes for the badging. So, all badged name choices were eliminated. But thanks for responding!

"Seattle." Enuf said.

Oh for pity's sake, the word Trump on a banjo is just a word on a banjo. What's wrong with you fools? I don't like him, but the word Trump will never cause me a moment of concern.
Oh, btw, "Kevin". Name the banjo "Kevin".

Unfortunately, just the name will sometimes cause a political controversy to start. I wanted to nip it in the bud before that happened.

Dan, if you're asking about the Tr*mp banjo.....no, there is no truss rod under that cover.
The "truss rod cover" is just a placard that says "Steel Reinforced Neck".
There is a steel rod in the neck, but it's not adjustable.

Sherry, you know you're top shelf as far as I'm concerned. I was just setting up the "Kevin" gag.

Only putting kantstandya would be dumber.
