Just curious if anyone lives in that area or knows about it, whether it has any significant banjo presence, bluegrass jams, bluegrass live music, etc. I'll be visiting there soon and wouldn't mind stopping by at some places if there's anything to see. I'm expecting it to be mostly a country two-step crowd but ya never know.

Former Blue Grass Boy Bob Black was still active in that area à number of years ago, he still is.

I'm closer to sioux city. There's more people on that side of the state. So it wouldn't surprise me if you could find what you're looking for. Have Fun!
