Hello everyone,
I was curious if anyone might happen to know who made this tailpiece and perhaps about when?
On the underside it reads BTL5 and 0003 followed by USA. It’s also substantially heavier than other Oettinger style tailpieces I’ve owned coming in at 114g (4oz)
I’ve yet to use it on an instrument, waiting till it’s time to change out strings, so I’m not sure how it’ll effect the sound if at all, any thoughts?
