More About Me

Hello,
I teach beginning to advanced levels of 3 finger bluegrass banjo (Scruggs, Single String, Melodic) and also advanced clawhammer banjo as well some other oldtime banjo styles. I've been playing banjo for 15 years and currently work at East Tennessee State University as a part of the Bluegrass, Old Time and Country music program teaching recording engineering. My focus on teaching is usually right hand technique. I can use tablature but prefer not to with students.

I am coming to Bristol to spend the Summer and want to learn Clawhammer. I know a little 3 finger bluegrass, but really have never had a good teacher. I will be up there around 6/10-8/30. Do you have availability during that time.
