More About Me

I am no longer young enough for teaching regular lessons, although I can suggest a good teacher for your interests and playing level. I do the occasional face to face for those looking for advice on correcting a specific problem or wishing to learn one of the techniques from my ebook Rocket Science Banjo. I usually charge about $30 to 60 dollars a lesson but am very flexible and am more than willing to take into account college poverty etc. Most of my "teaching" is actually done through email and I tend to charge very little if anything for it. I used to know a guy named Tony Spadaro from NY who once lent/gave me some lawn chairs for my wedding in 1983. He was a good friend to my best man, Jim Carmichael. Any chance you and he are one and the same? - Hatteraskman

I doubt it. I did have Spadaro relatives living in Staten Island though, and they could have named a son Tony. If by NY you mean state though, the only other Spadaros I knew were distant cousins and I'm really not sure where they lived - somewhere west of the Albany based Tricities where I grew up. - oldwoodchuckb
