My strengths are teaching

-Basic music theory and how it relates to banjo. Specifically the names of the notes on the fingerboard, how to make major scales and how to harmonize those scales to make chords.

-Improvising by playing in key using scales, chords and "position playing" Then connecting those positions to move freely around the neck.

-Incorporating single string and melodic into your Scruggs playing to create a seamless sound.

-Traditional Irish tunes & techniques for 5 string banjo.
