More About Me
I'm a Berklee College of Music Alum, and 2nd place winner at Winfield and MerleFest. I currently live in Nashville , TN. I first studied Bluegrass music on the banjo, and later moved into Jazz and other musics based heavily on improvisation. I've studied with Bela Fleck, Tony Trischka, Bill Keith, Alan Munde, and John McGann. I teach private lessons and workshops, and write for the Banjo Newsletter.
With advanced students I stress ear training and understanding music theory.
I often use Skype for video lessons to students in other locations.
