I have been taking in-person banjo lessons with Kenny for the last 19 months. Kenny is an awesome teacher. I had no previous music experience and Kenny makes every lesson so enjoyable. My banjo lessons are the highlight of my week. My friends are shocked by my progress in 19 months. I can play many banjo songs and I am also learning music theory. Kenny is patient and explains everything. He sends me home with material to practice and knows how much to challenge me each week. He is simply an incredible banjo teacher. I've been playing for a few years already, and my time with Ken has resulted in my best stretch of growth to date. My lead is faster, my back up is more comprehensive, and I have a whole slew of fiddle tunes under my belt.
Ken's ability to pick appropriately challenging material, along with a wealth of tablature and generosity with his time and information has made this my most productive year of playing yet. ?????
