More About Me
I live in South East Tennessee half-way between Knoxville and Chattanooga. Small town of Tellico Plains.
I teach guitar, old time banjo, ukulele and harmony singing. I also teach folks how to Jam with others.
I grew up on folk, country and rock. Settled down with folk and old time appalachia music.
My teaching focuses on getting my students to eventually play by ear in most any Jam setting. Reading notation is not a requirement in my classes. In fact we don't and won't read any notation. Tabs maybe, but we will work on developing your ear and listening and learning to play what you hear.
