I play with a two-finger picking style, combining thumb lead with index lead, and have been playing this style for 40 years. My favorite players in this style include Lee Sexton, Pete Steele, Roscoe Holcomb, Wade Mainer, Doc Watson, Will Keys, as well as many clawhammer players
I also love the classic Bluegrass banjo players Earl Scruggs, Ralph Stanley, Allen Shelton, Don Reno, Sonny Osborne, and Rudy Lyle
I also give lessons on mandolin and other instruments, and host a monthly Sacred Harp Singing
