More About Me

Third generation bluegrass musician playing banjo, guitar & mandolin. Have performed in three Western PA based bluegrass bands since 2000: The Tom's Kitchen Band, the Reckharts, and Mule Station. Recorded CD's with "The Reckharts" and Seattle based rock 'n roll band: "David Bavas and the Down Comforter". Experience performing a variety of venues including the legendary Wheeling Jamboree. Began teaching lessons at Phil's Woodshed Acoustic Music Store in Mercer, PA around 2005 or 2006.
