More About Me
I have been playing clawhammer banjo for 13 years and have taught on and off throughout that time. I have been experimenting with more unconventional clawhammer techniques and song arrangements and would love to explore these with students. I love the styles of several modern banjo players including Alison DeGroot, Lukas Pool, and Adam Hurt. I'm a queer friendly teacher and especially want to encourage women and lgbtq folx to pursue music! I'm located in the Black Hills of South Dakota but primarily give lessons online.
