More About Me

I have been playing banjo since high school and love this instrument with all my heart. I worked at the Stype Brothers Banjo Shop in Hollywood Fl for years and now teach in Wesley Chapel Florida. I play Scruggs style with a splash of the melodic style. I played in several bands over the years and now with my husband in our band called Sassafras. Check us out on our Face book page under "Sassafras" Acoustic Bluegrass Music. I work hard to get my students to the point where they can jam with others playing in time and clean. We do student jams and parties so they have the chance to learn to play in a jam situation. When not playing music you can find me playing golf or riding my horse Honey. We also have a mini donkey named Cracker Jack . a momma named Mocha and her baby Sassy
