I have written a banjo teaching method and am ready to use it to teach banjo beginners.
This method includes ten, 1-hour, one-on-one, in person, 3-finger (Scruggs style) lessons.
The $15 hourly fee reflects my commitment to your success as I continue to validate my method and prepare it for publication.
I have over 40 years of banjo playing experience. The philosophy behind this method is "...if I could go back 40 years and teach myself, what basic lessons would I teach that would keep me interested in playing the banjo while preparing me to play along with other experienced players "
Who do I consider banjo beginners?
- No previous musical experience.
- Musical experience but no previous banjo playing experience.
- Tried to learn the banjo but gave up.
- Self-taught beginner but progress stalled.
Student must have their own banjo.
