I'm a lifelong musician of multiple instruments, and I've been teaching since 2013. I hold a bachelor's degree in music with an emphasis in banjo, and a master's degree in music education, this time with a thesis on the banjo. I teach a variety of both bluegrass and non-bluegrass styles and genres. In recent years I've developed alternate teaching methods for online lessons to ensure that they are just as successful as in-person studies. I've taught ages five to sixty-five, and I love getting to know my students in order to get them playing what they want to play and to accommodate their personal learning styles. My top two goals for my students are to have fun and get results.
I also teach other stuff too, but since this is for banjo, I'm focusing on it more here.
