More About Me

I began teaching @ Texas Tech ( 1962 ). I continued to
teach @ UT ( Austin - 1965-66 ).

I began teaching as my full-time job in early 1972, and have been teaching
full-time here in Houston, Texas since 1972. I accept all
levels, from total beginners to advanced pickers.

I specialize in teaching good back-up, because that is
where you will have the most fun, when you play with
other folks.

basic Scruggs ( where all should begin ), then back-up,
then melodics, and what I call walking bass back-up.

I also accept out of towners, folks who may come to
Houston, and may just want a lesson on specific ideas.
