Computers are amazing. Here is a tune I wrote several years ago. I recorded it with Band in a Box. The solos other than banjo are computer generated. D tuning as I remember. Hope you get a kick out of this one as I did stumbling across it. Kelly

Hey Kelly, that is really cool!
I have Band in a Box too, but I use it as backup for practice. Never thought to record with it. How do you do that?

Glad you liked it. I created the arrangement in Band in a box, length, solos, styles, etc... Then I exported the file as a midi. I imported the midi files (BIAB exports them as individual instrument files) into Sonar. I recorded the banjo on a seperated track and mixed all instruments individually.
The newer versions of BIAB allows you to record directly into the program. I've never done that so I'm not sure how one handles the mixing issues.
Hope this helps.
