Here is my version of Lonesome Fiddle Blues. It features a slow introduktion and 2 breaks on fiddle and banjo. The 2nd fiddle solo uses slow and high doublestops and is played in more or less classical way. I play both instruments. I played it at 100bpm. I think it should be played not too fast as it is not a breakdown. Picked on my japanese FAKE GIBSON.

Lovely arrangement. I hear shades of New Grass Revival in your first banjo break. Vassar (who wrote this) would have enjoyed your playing and would have been happy to play along with you. He was always trying it in new ways, and you've done a great job with it here.

Graet job...that song use to be my all time favorite...once upon a time I could play it.... I don't think I remember anything but the first part.....If i remember correctly the first chord is a nice stretch for the left hand.

Great style, almost near soundtrack. There seems to be lots of hours into thoses notes. I'd have trouble remembering all thoses if it was my recording. How does it go again... oh yeah, ABC, huh what's next?
Banjo to the east and fiddle to the west! Well, my desktop monitor is facing north. See what I mean? :)
