a song about my area. cumberland gap tuning worked pretty good on it. might speed it up, who knows. it's pretty lonesome sounding i think.

Nice job. I see you live near the Erie Canal (I have been in your town). I did a different version of the same tune, but I guess there are alot of different versions.

thanks John. i based mine on Pete Seegers sort of minor sounding version, but prior to that all the versions i'd heard were in a major key. i think i out-minored pete though hahaha.
