Here I am at the office, waiting to leave. And, I have a banjo. This is my version of Charlie Pooles version of Goodbye Sweet Liza Jane. I am in G on the Gold Tone. Sorry about the rumbles where the microphone got my exhales. Now everyone knows that I tend to hold my breath while playing.

I enjoy songs like this, too. I used to have a few Dave Macon & Charlie Poole songs under my belt, and I'd like to get them back to the surface. Fiddle tunes are OK, but sometimes you just gotta sing.
