Ok. I'm going to make an observation. I suspect you're trying very hard to "get it all right." And you succeeded. Notes well defined, played with "commitment." But to me it feels more like it's a task.
As an audience participant, I want to have FUN! Therefore, I want YOU to help me have more fun! And that happens by YOU having fun!
If I were to offer you advice, which I won't... what I'm saying is "all about my needs" as an audience member :), I'd say concentrate less on your notes and technique and more on "Joan having a ball playing the banjo!" I KNOW that joy is there. Passion is in everything else you do!
It's easy. Start with getting your head outa the way. It's just going to score you with a grade anyway. Meanwhile, your heart and soul are raring to go! So let 'er rip... and see where it ends up. I KNOW you'll find new ground!
Write back when you post what it's like there. This'll be fun for all of us!!
