An original composition by my bajo teacher and mentor, Joe Bethancourt. It is a love song set during the renaissance but set in spain rather than Elizabethan England. It is a very moody love song and Joe performs it on a guitar in a Spanish fingerstyle. I decided to create an arrangement on the banjo. I hope I have preserved the moody Spanish feel. You be the judge.

If you had to pigeon-hole it into Spain somewhere, then I'll nominate the province of Galicia, the Gaelic/Celtic part of Spain. Thanks for posting this. BTW, the Spanish title should have been Bella Doña. The title as written is in Italian. So much for my geographic, cultural and linguistic prowess. An now ah kin git back to bein' an urban hillbilly.
