Johnny Jackson (my grandfather) on lead guitar. I'm playing the mandolin, bass, and banjo (Adcock style).

James,
You and your Grandfather really have it going on this one. Congrats to both of you. Sounds like you are a lot farther advanced than I am and I have been playing longer. Keep up the good work.

Hey Rick, Thanks alot buddy! I really appreciate it. I really wouldn't say I'm more advanced than anyone, I was just unemployed for a long time! lol

Great version of a great old Carter Family (and Townes van Zandt) tune. Can't believe you've been playing for only two years. Thanks for sharing.

Raymond, my grandfather has showed me everything I know. Without him, I wouldn't be able to pick what little bit I can. My grandfather also said he agreed with the "where would you kids be without us" lol

Wow! Really enjoyed this. Great playing from everyone. Can't believe you've only been playing since 2005! I think that's when I started too. I've tried to play in Eddie's style but it's very tricky. I sure will persevere after hearing this though.
Thanks,
Leo

Hey Leon, thanks alot! and I agree its very tricky, you really have to think "outside the box" to get the unique chord voicings Eddie does. I'm glad I inspired you to play more of Eddie's style. I have a feeling before too long, you'll be showing me alot!

Sounds cool, I like that kind of pickin'. Eddie Adcock is so unique, and it's evident that you're well schooled to do it right! Thanks! Doug Knecht
