This is a tune I wrote for my wife, Alice. It is off an album we made some years ago entitled 'A Little Bit Of Junc' by The Secret River Band, the 'Junc' meaning the Junction Inn at Rainford, where we play every Wednesday. The banjo is an Ibanez Artist which I had for eighteen years.

Beautiful Waltz!!! Heard it while at work and had to shut my door, turn up the volume and let the melodies take me away. Great job! Thanks for sharing!

Wow, that is beautiful.  I really enjoyed that.  Now I'm going to sit down with my mandolin and learn it.

Lovely tune nicely played. Next time I visit my parents I'll have to look the junction up, it's not far from Ormakirk were I'm originally from

Very very nice! This tune has one of those timeless qualities about it, hard to pinpoint, but touches something very nostalgic. Thanks for that.

Owen,
Had the fortune to listen to this again today, been a while since I was on the site. This arrangement is by far one of the loveliest tunes I've ever come across.- Beautiful!

Sir, Owen, I don't know what rock I have been hiding under, but after being a Hangout member for 3+ years I just now discovered Alice's Waltz. Beautiful, peacefully calming, and I think I may actually be able to learn it (still novice I'm afraid). I've read the other comments and I must say its hard to find the words to describe the serenity in the tune. WELL DONE! If there are tabs for the other instrumentation I would love to see them. Thanks for sharing your talent.

Thank you for your kind comments Donna, I'm afraid I don't have any tabs for the other instruments...but thanks again.
